The Blyth Offshore Demonstration site and the National Offshore Anemometry Hub (NOAH) provide a unique facility for undertaking research and demonstration activity.

In addition to demonstrating technologies in a controlled onshore environment, being able to demonstrate technologies effectively prior to installation offshore can play a huge role in reducing risk and installation time, and reducing costs as well as helping to generate a greater understanding and reassurance of how the product will work in the field.

Utilising our offshore anemometry platform located off Blyth, Northumberland we're able to provide developers and manufacturers with an excellent opportunity to conduct vital testing, calibration and verification of remote sensor technologies such as floating LiDAR and other instrumentation under real-life conditions in order to prove reliability, data availability and performance in a remote offshore environment.
