ORE Catapult are poroud to once again partner with ScottishRenewables as they launch their Offshore Wind Conference for 2021.
Ambitions for offshore wind just keep increasing, and we’re now ‘live’ with ScotWind Leasing. By the end of 2021 we’ll know the rough shape of Scotland’s offshore sector for the rest of this decade, and Scotland will have hosted a crucial global climate conference as well.
Let’s start the year taking stock of our hard work to date and setting out how industry can capitalise on the opportunities ahead. From supply chain innovation to consenting barriers, there is a massive amount of research and collaboration under way to ensure that we can deliver on the Scottish Offshore Wind Energy Council’s vision of 8GW of generation deployed in Scottish waters by 2030. Our 2021 Offshore Wind Conference will also ensure that, more than ever before, we join up national discussions on hydrogen and the energy transition under way in the North Sea.
Make sure to drop by and visit our virtual stand as part of the conference or check out one of two sessions below for some interesting talks and debates from experts across the industry.
