NET-ZERO ENERGY TRANSITION AWARDS 2022

Website visit Address The Chester Hotel, 55-63 Queen's Road, Aberdeen, AB15 4YP. Start August 25, 2022 - End August 25, 2022 -

Ensuring the delivery of the new energy projects which will help us meet our carbon reduction and climate change targets is a momentous task – and one which requires a vast array of skills, experience, and engineering know-how. That’s where the supply chain comes in. From the outermost northern islands to the Borders, hundreds of companies across Scotland are grasping – and hoping to grasp – the economic and environmental benefits arising from the growing decarbonisation pipeline. They’re working hard to collaborate, upskill, innovate, expand and develop to offer optimum solutions to the industry.

For the first time, in August 2022, Scotland’s renewable energy industry and its growing supply chain will come together to celebrate the achievements of the diverse Scottish supplier network. We’ll showcase expertise and capabilities and honour the tenacity of those playing a key role in supporting Scotland’s journey to a new, net-zero energy system.

The inaugural Scottish Renewables’ Net-Zero Energy Transition Awards recognises the passion, dedication and talent of the exceptional people and companies making up the energy transition supply chain.

AUDIENCE
The Net-Zero Energy Transition Awards will attract professionals from across the energy transition, from individuals and businesses working both upstream and downstream in fossil fuel extraction, processing and generation who’re looking to move into green technology, as well as those who’re already established in the low-carbon sector.

The Awards aim to recognise individuals, companies and groups in the supply chain, as well as industry bodies and developers who’re working with them. Those who’re striving to reach Scotland’s climate goals as well as maximise the positive economic impact coming from the net-zero project pipeline will also be showcased. Expected roles cover a diverse range from Business Owners, Directors, Business Development Managers, Project Engineers, Consultants and Graduates to those in operational roles – the people on the ground working hard to deliver the technology of tomorrow.
