Brexit and the Industrial Strategy are opportunities for the regions outside of the South-East and support them to drive economic growth – here and abroad. Wave and tidal energy industries are part of this.
In Glasgow, hear from MPs and regional political leaders as they set out their vision for marine energy driving local economic growth. We will also welcome delegates from our industries’ global markets as they set out upcoming opportunities and debate how we can drive global exports. And it will be a chance for us to debate together how we can overcome the common challenges that lie before us.
As the first marine conference after the publication of the Government’s Industrial Strategy, join us to discuss what it means for our industries.
Make sure your organisation doesn’t miss this opportunity to be part of the Wave & Tidal 2018 conference and exhibition programme.
The programme will include the best abstracts chosen from the two session titles below along with the introduction of a miscellaneous and poster presentation category.
Taking a Fresh Look at Known Challenges; Being Smarter about O&M
We wish to hear from those who have already delivered, or are planning to deliver innovative O&M Strategies, with a focus on cross-industry collaboration for cross-industry cost reductions. We are keen for the speakers to engage with delegates on the challenges, opportunities and lessons.
Simplifying UK Development
We wish to hear from those engaged in seeking opportunities to develop projects around the waters of the UK, to engage with our delegates to discuss ways to simplify site development; including experience from other jurisdictions and other industries.
