Dr. Terence Macquart

Dr. Terence Macquart

Academic Staff, Wind Blade Research Hub

Terence Macquart is a Lecturer at the Bristol Composites Institute (ACCIS) in the Faculty of Engineering. He earned his PhD degree on the topic of aero-servo-elastic control for smart wind turbine blades in 2014 at Northumbria University. He next moved to a post-doctoral researcher position at the department of aerospace structure and materials at Delft University of Technology. Afterwards, he secured a post-doctoral researcher position at the University of Bristol under the EPSRC-funded SUPERGEN Wind research grant project until 2017. His current research interests include aero-servo-elastic design and optimisation of wind turbine blades, multi-disciplinary optimisation and composites structures.
