ORE Catapult at Renewable UK 2013

The Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult had a high profile presence at the Renewable UK 2013 Exhibition and Conference at the NEC in Birmingham from 5-7 November.

With an exhibition stand that no-one could miss and senior representation throughout the three days, the Catapult spoke to hundreds of people from the renewables industry, strengthening existing relationships and forging a number of strategic new ones.

On the second day of the conference, ORE Catapult and the Crown Estate announced the signing of their MOU aimed at increasing the momentum of driving down costs of offshore wind, wave and tidal energy.

Chief Exec Andrew Jamieson had a high profile at the conference in his role as Chairman of Renewable UK, chairing one conference discussion on Industrial Delivery and Supply Chain and introducing the political keynote speaker on the second day, Shadow Energy and Climate Change Minister Julie Elliott MP.
