Marine Energy Supply Chain Gateway

What is the Marine Energy Supply Chain Gateway?

The Marine Energy Supply Chain Gateway (MESCG) is a database of suppliers supporting the UK’s marine energy industry.

It brings together data from six partners to provide a comprehensive guide to the marine energy supply chain in the UK.

Introducing the marine energy supply chain

The UK marine energy supply chain is a network of companies and organisations developing, producing and manufacturing products for the marine energy sector, from Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to innovative small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

The marine energy sector could be worth more than £4 billion cumulatively to UK GDP by 2050*, so a significant and long-term supply chain base is vital as the sector moves towards commercialisation.

Benefits of registering

Registering with the MESCG is free of charge and offers a number of benefits:

  • Access to a UK-wide supplier database
  • A customisable search function, allowing you to specify your requirements
  • The ability to create and save multiple search lists
  • The ability to view search results by location on an interactive map
