Kevin joined the Catapult in April 2019 as HV Laboratory Manager. Leading a multi-disciplinary team, he is responsible for the delivery of technically complex testing projects within ORE Catapult’s high voltage electrical testing facility. He has a broad range of skills and a depth of experience in Electronic Engineering and Project Management. Utilising highly collaborative outputs with participation across various sectors he ensures the successful delivery of commercial and technically challenging projects which are often bespoke in nature.
Prior to joining the Catapult, Kevin spent a full career in the Royal Air Force specialising in long range radar before joining subsea vehicle manufacturer company SMD as a customer trainer. He was then employed in various locations worldwide to deliver training on the company’s portfolio of vehicles including WROV’s, Cable Laying Ploughs and Trenchers.
Kevin is a Chartered Engineer, a member of the MIET and has a BSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
