The team will host 3 workshops (Cardiff, Aberystwyth and Bangor) during the week commencing 19th June, to bring together participants from across ORE and space sectors as well as from a mix of industry, academia, and Research and Technology Organisations (RTO) to assess the market urgency and technical viability of solutions. The session will look at all opportunities that satellites offer offshore renewables but will use three key challenge questions to facilitate conversations:

• Details on the context and scale of the opportunity in the Celtic Sea
• Examples of where satellites have provided solutions
• An introduction to Welsh Government Innovation Funding
• Details on ESA’s Space for Green Energy Transition initiate and related key funding opportunities
