5th International Symposium on Leading Edge Erosion of Wind Turbine Blades

Website visit Address Roskilde, Denmark Start February 6, 2024 - End February 8, 2024 -

About the Event:

Leading edge erosion of wind turbine blades is one of rather critical problems of the wind energy development.  It can lead to sufficient reduction of annual energy production for wind turbines.  The objective of this Symposium is to discuss ways to predict, control and prevent leading edge erosion of the wind turbine blades, ensuring high reliability of the wind energy generation.

The Symposium is the follow-up of the 1st-4th International Symposia on Leading Edge Erosion of Wind Turbines,  which took place in DTU Risø Campus, Roskilde, in 2020 and 2023, and online, in 2021 and 2022, respectively.

The program of previous, 4th Symposium is given here.

This Symposium is planned as “only physical”  event (no online option).
