Cristina Garcia Duffy leads our partnered session on the next decade in offshore wind, in which we’ll be considering four main principles:

  • Support mechanisms

Anil Sayhan, our Offshore Wind Growth Partnership programme Director also joins this session.

 

15th June – Day 2 

 

9:50 AM to 10:50 AM – Floating Offshore Wind: The picture out to 2050:

Our Head of Floating Offshore Wind, Ralph Torr is speaking on issues such as:

  • Floating Wind in the Celtic Sea
  • INTOG – how will these projects be delivered?
  • The challenges and opportunities of the industrialisation of floating wind. What can we learn from our experience in the fixed bottom market?

12:45PM – 12:55PM – Environmental Monitoring Innovation Opportunities For Offshore Infrastructure

1:30PM to 2:00PM – Innovation keynote from Dr Maggie Aderin-Pocock MBE

Our CEO, Andrew Jamieson joins Space Scientist, Dr Maggie Aderin-Pocock MBE, for the Innovation keynote this year at Global Offshore Wind.

 

2:00 PM to 3:00 PM – Sustainability in the offshore wind sector:

One of our Development & Operations Project Engineers, Lorna Bennetjoins this session on sustainability in the offshore wind sector. Focusing on topics such as:

  • What suitability initiatives are out there in the industry already?
  • More than just blades – what is the supply chain doing to reduce emissions?
  • Collaboration – on scope 1,2,3 – is there enough incentive for everyone to work together to reduce emissions?
  • Maritime decarbonisation in offshore wind
  • We may be a green industry – but how can we be greener?

 

Exhibition space:

We are occupying stand L85 and stand M80 across both days of the conference. L85 is our main stand known as the ‘Catapult Pavilion’ in which we will be hosting various innovative companies. M80 is the OWGP (Offshore Wind Growth Partnership) stand.
