The Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult has appointed Thomas Arensbach, former Head of Offshore Projects UK at Siemens, as Senior Business Development Manager.
Thomas has a wealth of experience in the offshore renewables industry, having previously worked at Gamesa, A2Sea, Statkraft UK, UPC Energy Management and Vestas Offshore Wind. Over his career he has been involved at various stages of projects installed totalling 3,750 MW.
Commenting on Thomas’ appointment, Andrew Jamieson, ORE Catapult Chief Executive, said:
“Thomas’ extensive, international experience of developing offshore wind projects will prove invaluable to ORE Catapult as we continue to seek ways to lower the cost of energy from offshore renewables and maximise the huge potential economic benefits to the UK.”
