Wales Innovation in Marine Monitoring Competition

The Wales Innovation in Marine Monitoring Competition aims to provide targeted support and remove barriers to encourage marine monitoring businesses to enter the UK offshore wind supply chain, enabling the development of Irish and Celtic Sea offshore renewable projects.

Through specialist advice, access to workshop development and onshore and offshore pilot testing, this business transformation opportunity aims to support SMEs to validate and de-risk their innovation marine environment monitoring technologies. The Wales Innovation in Marine Monitoring Competition is funded by the Swansea City Bay Deal and delivered by our Marine Energy Engineering Centre of Excellence (MEECE).

Nod Cystadleuaeth Arloesi mewn Monitro Morol – Cymru yw cynnig cymorth wedi’i dargedu a chael gwared ar rwystrau i annog busnesau monitro morol i ymuno â chadwyn gyflenwi ynni gwynt ar y môr y DU. Bydd hyn yn galluogi datblygiad prosiectau adnewyddadwy alltraeth ym Môr Iwerddon a’r Môr Celtaidd.

Drwy gyngor arbenigol, mynediad at ddatblygu gweithdy, a phrofion peilot ar y tir ac ar y môr, nod y cyfle ‘trawsnewid busnes’ hwn yw cefnogi busnesau bach a chanolig i ddilysu a dadrisgio eu technolegau monitro morol arloesol. Mae Cystadleuaeth Arloesi mewn Monitro Morol – Cymru wedi’i hariannu gan Fargen Ddinesig Bae Abertawe a’i chyflwyno gan ein Canolfan Ragoriaeth Peirianneg Ynni Morol (MEECE).
