The Offshore Wind Growth Partnership (OWGP) is a long-term business transformation programme that has been established as part of the UK Offshore Wind Sector Deal.

 

The OWGP is funded by the Offshore Wind Industry Council (OWIC) with a budget of £100million over 10 years, providing support to supply chain companies to enable them to grow and increase their competitiveness. Support includes access to direct funding and a range of services, such as expert advice on manufacturing and commeralisation as well as funding for innovation.

 

It promotes closer collaboration across the supply chain, implements structured productivity improvement programmes and facilitates shared growth opportunities between developers and the supply chain. OWGP runs a pipeline of funding competitions to identify high-growth UK companies and award funding on a competitive basis. Funds are designed to support transformative projects that will enhance competitiveness, drive innovation, and stimulate growth in the UK’s offshore wind supply chain.
