Technology Development

Our Technology Development team helps deliver comprehensive open-access research, test, innovation and validation services to accelerate the deployment of new and innovative offshore renewable energy technology. With highly experienced teams of technical researchers, test engineers and technology specialists, they are helping to deliver industry-leading services to drive down the cost of offshore renewable energy.

Research & Technical Capabilities

Our Research & Technical Capabilities team help to deliver and develop our world leading research activity which helps to uncover dynamic new solutions to many of the challenges facing the sector. Their work is a key part of maintaining the UK’s position at the forefront of offshore renewable energy.

Strategy and Emerging Technologies

Working with SME’s, academia and industry, our Strategy and Emerging Technologies team identify and support the acceleration of promising technologies towards commercialisation, seed the next generation of high growth businesses, and help them to access the UK’s indigenous market and export opportunities.

Development & Operations

Our Development & Operations team leads on developing engineering solutions that can help bring new technologies and products to market. They support innovators looking to accelerate new products to market to enhance the UK’s offshore wind supply chain, enabling greater UK content, and supporting cost reduction through engineering innovation.

Corporate Affairs

Our Corporate Affairs team is responsible for delivering communications, across our various channels, which brings to life the vital work of the teams across the organisation and how this is having a huge impact on the offshore renewable energy sector. This includes media, events, publications, digital channels, and political engagement.

Professional Services

Our Professional Services directorate is responsible for delivering key enabling and governance services to support the delivery of ORE Catapult’s work. This includes Finance, Procurement, ICT, and legal services.

People

Our People team works to ensure that all our people are supported throughout the organisation to build a culture of high performance and individual development, to ensure our goals are achieved, while also promoting our core values of collaboration, excellence, innovation, and integrity.
