TIGGOR

Technology, Innovation & Green Growth for Offshore Renewables (TIGGOR) is a supply chain programme designed to boost growth and productivity in the North of Tyne and wider North East England region’s offshore wind and subsea sectors.

Funded primarily by the North East Combined Authority (NECA), the programme has been established to support the acceleration of businesses in the region’s burgeoning offshore wind and subsea sectors, as well as encourage market entrance of companies that currently do not operate in these industries.

CURRENT TIGGOR OPPORTUNITIES

The TIGGOR 2 programme extension has been funded by the North East Combined Authority (NECA) as part of its commitment to supporting the region’s offshore renewable energy supply chain. Here are the latest opportunities now taking applications.

'EASI' BUSINESS SUPPORT

EASI (Engineering and Analysis Supply Initiative) is the latest programme launched through ORE Catapult’s successful partnership with the North East Combined Authority (NECA) under the TIGGOR 2 programme.

EASI will deliver expert technical support and market analysis exclusively to micro, small or medium size enterprises based in Newcastle, Northumberland or North-Tyneside. The businesses supported will have technology, products or services that can be applied to the offshore wind sector which  help theUK to meet our ambitious targets for generating clean, renewable energy.

SMEs based in any of the three regions are invited to apply, with submissions reviewed on a ‘first come, first served’ footing with successful companies to be selected on a rolling basis.

The EASI business support programme aims ‘To turn the dial on technical and commercial readiness’ and also help companies strengthen their business case to access future funding support.
