Following several years of operating offshore wind farms, Centrica chose to undertake a wholesale review of health and safety risks that could trigger an emergency response. A project involving a wide group of stakeholders was launched to identify key hazards, using field-based exercises to better understand and seek improvements to eliminate or reduce risk when responding to an emergency. This O&M Case Study presents the approach adopted and the benefits realised.
