About the Event:
The global event on wind blade materials, design, manufacturing, maintenance and sustainability
The 16th edition of Wind Turbine Blades will be held at the Hilton Düsseldorf in Germany from 9-11 December 2025. The event brings together industry experts from across the value chain to examine key industry trends and developments in wind turbine blade manufacturing and design, materials, inspection and testing, O&M, and end-of-life management and recycling.
As the global installed capacity of onshore and offshore wind grows rapidly with bigger turbines and longer blades, addressing challenges like blade quality, manufacturing defects, and the cost of operation becomes critical. On the other hand, the fierce competition in delivering reliable blades at a lower price is putting additional pressure on the OEMs who are in the process of financial recovery. And last but not least, as the volume of decommissioned blades grows significantly, ensuring a sustainable solution for recycling them is a must if the industry is to keep its overall carbon footprint to a minimum.
