Amanda is a Research Integration Manager in the Research and Technical Capabilities directorate, currently working on team resource utilisation and forecasting and preparing reports.
She also has several years’ experience in coordinating bids for public-funded R&D projects, as well as helping to coordinate consortia and project management activities for EU FP7 projects. Amanda has a keen eye for detail and likes to help proof-read technical reports for members of the team. She also has a HND in Materials Technology and is a PRINCE2 Practitioner.
Prior to joining ORE Catapult, Amanda worked as a Development Technologist for a university spin-off company and before that was a Technology Development Engineer for a large multi-national semiconductor manufacturer. She has also worked in the automotive and manufacturing sectors. Amanda has experience of monitoring and reporting on high-profile, high-value engineering projects as well as writing technical documentation. Amanda has also established and managed an engineering change request database, working as an Engineering Change Coordinator for a tier one automotive company.
