Andy is responsible for business development at ORE Catapult and sits in the Operational Performance team, reporting to Chris Hill. Andy is a member of the senior management team in the Catapult and is a board member of WEBS – the onshore wind benchmarking service – a joint venture between ORE Catapult and Natural Power Consultants.

During more than 25 years of commercial and business management, he has developed and implemented strategies and business development roadmaps to help grow businesses from nascent organisations to leaders in their fields. He has a track record of taking both a front-end responsibility as well as building and actively leading successful commercial and sales teams, equipping them with the skills to negotiate complex contracts, grow revenues in existing client bases and closing multi-million-pound deals in highly competitive environments.

He has rolled out fixed and mobile infrastructure projects in sub-Saharan Africa as well as directing the start-up of EPC submarine cable projects in Europe and the UK.
