Andy is Head Of Business Development within the Development & Operations Directorate, focusing on building enduring working relationships with offshore wind farm developers, their supply chains, government departments and agencies designing and delivering collaborative projects and commercial services.
Prior to joining ORE Catapult, Andy worked for Siemens Gamesa, developing and negotiating Operations & Maintenance contracts globally, with extensive experience previous to that in the Offshore Oil & Gas industry in a variety of Commercial and Business Development roles.
Andy has been involved in industry working groups and collaborative projects in previous roles; with the focus of developing best practice in Offshore Wind, for example being Deputy Chair of the Heli-Offshore Windfarm Working Group, aligning with G+ and developing recommended operational guidelines.
Andy has a degree in Economics and an MBA from University of Strathclyde Business School.
