David is the Regional Partnership Manager for Clean Maritime at the Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult. He is responsible for developing projects to support the decarbonisation of maritime operations in offshore renewables.
He is keen to hear from innovators developing clean maritime technology capable of delivering emissions reductions and can help support technology development towards commercialisation.
Since joining the Catapult in January 2021, David has worked extensively on industry engagement, looking at how the barriers to adoption of clean maritime vessels can be overcome.
In this role he produced the engagement report and barriers to adoption sections of the “Decarbonising maritime operations in North Sea offshore wind O&M: innovation roadmap” (DfT) and is now working to support ‘Operation Zero’, the joint industry and government initiative to decarbonise the vessels operating in Offshore Wind O&M.
David has a BSc in Physics and a MSc in ‘Sustainable Energy and the Environment’.
