David is ORE Catapult’s TIGER programme manager.

An experienced Programme Manager with a strong track-record of leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams in the design & delivery of complex, large-scale infrastructure development programmes. A broad career spans a number of countries, across a range of specialist engineering sectors including rail, avionics, defence electronics and high precision CNC machining.

More recently he lead the Security Infrastructure upgrade programme at Heathrow airport, and spent 5-years as Head of Terminal Development at the world’s largest international airport in Dubai, UAE.

David is a member of the SET team based out of the Cornwall Office. In his current role of TIGER Programme Manager, he co-ordinates the activities of 18 academic research & technology developer partner organisations across the UK & Europe, to prove the commercial viability & advance the deployment of early-stage Tidal Stream Energy generation technologies on both sides of the ‘Channel Manche’. As TIGER Programme Manager he discharges ORE Catapults’ duties as Lead Partner to the largest Interreg funded development programme in Europe.

 

A graduate architect, David holds post-graduate Lean manufacturing qualifications and an MBA.
