Gillian Sharp is Head of Procurement, and has been the lead procurement professional on a wide variety of high value multi-disciplinary contracts including Grid Emulation, O&M services for the Levenmouth Demonstrator Turbine, Dry Docks Refurbishment and 66kV to 11kV transformer to name but a few.
Gillian has a Bachelor of Science degree from the Open University, is a member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply, and a member of the Institute of Leadership & Management.
She brings with her over 40 years of experience in the disciplines of supply chain management and procurement, including 22 years’ service in the Royal Air Force served both in the UK and overseas. Gillian has also worked for other multi-disciplinary organisations, for example Gloucestershire Constabulary, Swindon Borough Council and Renfrewshire Council. Whilst working for the United Nations in New York City she provided assistance and guidance to field missions across the world relating to all procurement activities; this included liaison visits to field missions including Sudan (Darfur) and Chad and delivered multi logistics contracts for the establishment of various peacekeeping missions.
