Sheena Thomson is ORE Catapult’s Procurement Manager and has been the lead procurement professional on a wide variety of high value multi-disciplinary contracts including O&M services for the NOAH Platform, the new Water Pump & Filtration System for the dry dock refurbishment and numerous cross-Catapult Frameworks such as ICT, Language Services and Travel Management Services to name but a few.
Sheena is a member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply, and a member of the Institute of Logistics & Transport.
She brings with her over 30 years’ experience in procurement and supply chain management in both Private & Public Sectors. Sheena has also worked for other multi-disciplinary organisations, such as Strathclyde Partnership for Transport (“SPT”) and Lothian & Borders Fire & Rescue Service. Whilst working at SPT she undertook activities including the procurement of subway trains, buses and cleaning services. Whilst working at the Fire & Rescue Service she undertook all procurement activity including the procurement of fire appliances and fire-fighting equipment/PPE and was in charge of the central stores ensuring continuous supply to all whole-time & retained fire stations within the Lothian & Borders area.
