Stuart Barnes

Regional Partnership Manager

Stuart is our Regional Partnerships Manager. Based in the Humber, Stuart works with regional and national stakeholders in the public sector, industry and academia to develop a national centre of excellence for Operations & Maintenance that is regionally based with international impact.

With experience of both onshore and offshore development and consenting of wind farms, he worked with RES Offshore as part of the consenting team for ‘Rhiannon Wind Farm’, a Round 3 project developed by Joint Venture partners DONG and Centrica Energy. Prior to that, Stuart worked for an onshore developer and Carbon Trust company, Partnerships for Renewables.

With a background in public relations, government relations and stakeholder engagement, Stuart also has extensive experience of local government.
