Businesses in Scotland can apply for our award-winning technology accelerator programme, Launch Academy. Launch Academy Scotland supply chain programme will provide 10 early-stage companies with wraparound support to help them further develop, then fully commercialise, products and services targeting the UK’s offshore wind market.
Since 2020, Launch Academy has supported 57 companies, raised £26.7m in private investment and £8.4m in grant funding and had 150 patents filed through both the UK national and regional Launch Academy programmes.
In addition to gaining access to our significant in-house technical capabilities, Launch Academy cohort companies benefit from the opportunity to participate in workshops and 1-1 sessions delivered by our expert external delivery partners. This support is specific and targeted to ensure that all companies that graduate from Launch Academy have the skillsets, tools, structures and knowledge necessary to succeed in the offshore renewable energy industry.
