The Crown Estate commissioned ORE Catapult to carry out a series of Data Pilots to help data owners kick-start innovation through exploring data and developing proof of concepts. In each Data Pilot, an industrial partner provided a specific data and digital challenge for our team to tackle by deploying modern digital techniques. This report summarises each Data Pilot project delivered in 2018/19, and captures common data and digital challenges facing the offshore wind sector to gather industry recommendations.
