Cyber Siege Simulation

With most aspects of our lives becoming ever more digitalised, the issue of cybersecurity has never been more important. The increasing abundance of big data and analytics and our reliance on cyberspace has improved the productivity and efficiency of our energy production but has also left us more vulnerable than ever to cyber-attacks.

Why not join our real-time ‘Cyber Siege’, which will run over one day on a cyber range, with all participants connecting remotely and working as teams to defend or attack as the various challenges require. This is a live hands-on experience run in real-time with leader boards tracking scores. Participants learn by actively defending against complex attacks, while their skills are measured to identify areas for development.

It’s 100% cloud-hosted, accessed through a browser.

The participants are armed with real-word defensive tools and techniques that can be applied to detect and respond to an attack. The goal of each team is to find and defeat each attack while keeping websites and applications up and running. The clock is ticking!

Awards are presented to the winning team, and all participants receive a course certificate. Cyber Sieges usually count toward 8 CPE continuing education credits.

Requirements: PC or laptop and good internet connectivity.

Participant Skills for Cyber Siege (at least beginner level)

  • Job role in cyber security or asset data management involvement
  • Linux CLI (Command-Line Interface)
  • Linux and Windows Administration
  • Desire to learn and share back to your organisation

Places are limited, so get in touch ASAP to secure your place.

The event is free for members of our Wind Digital Innovation Forum . For non-members, it’s £675 + VAT per participant.
