Marine-i partners will be hosting a webinar on skills and training in the offshore renewable energy sector. This will include focus on the skills needed to meet the floating offshore wind (FLOW) opportunity in the Celtic Sea.
The webinar will be delivered by industry professionals from across the UK providing insights into the current and future skills and experience they require from employees.
The webinar will explore historical and envisaged future gaps in skills and training provision, alongside the current regional skills climate and the barriers to engineering uptake.
This represents an opportunity for education providers to discuss and identify solutions that will meet the needs of a growing industry through new curriculum design.
It is anticipated that this Discovery Room will spark a collaborative process in developing education in the region to meet the needs of this essential industry.
