These are:
1. Technology Demonstration Projects (TDP)
โข The technology demonstration projects provide grant funding through a competitive application call to organisations based in Newcastle, North-Tyneside and Northumberland to engage in R&D projects to accelerate the TRL and market readiness of novel offshore renewable energy innovations and technologies in specific thematic areas.
โข Projects are funded between 50-60% depending on organisation size, are open to small, medium and large organisations and offer a maximum funded value of ยฃ200,000.00 with a maximum project duration of 9 months.

2. Fit 4 Offshore Renewables (F4OR) Business Support Programme
โข The Fit 4 Offshore Renewables programme is designed to support the development of a competent, capable and competitive UK offshore renewable energy supply chain by providing the tools and knowledge for organisations to succeed within the offshore renewable energy industry.
โข F4OR provides business and sector specific support shaped by senior industry representatives ensuring that when a company completes the programme and is awarded โgranted statusโ they are operating at a level that meets the needs of industry customers.
โข The F4OR North-East England programme is open to organisations of all sizes based in Newcastle, North-Tyneside and Northumberland with or without prior experience in the offshore sector but does require participating organisations to have identified offshore renewable energy as a strategic opportunity for growth.
