Fred Hallsworth B.Acc, C.A

Non-Executive Director

Fred had a 30-year career with Andersen, and latterly Deloitte, providing corporate finance and corporate governance services to public and private technology companies in Scotland and Cambridge. For the last 11 years, he has worked as an Independent Non-Executive Chairman or Director. He currently sits on four other Boards (one public NASDAQ healthcare company which has raised $0.3bn, one VC backed semiconductor capital equipment company and CMA which administer the market for the provision of clean and wastewater services to the privatised Scottish non-retail market), and chairs each of their Audit Committees.

In addition, Fred is a lay member of the University of Strathclyde’s Enterprise and Investment Committee advising spinouts.
