Kenny is currently a Project manager with ORE Catapult, responsible for full-scale drivetrain nacelle testing, primarily delivering the Haliade X nacelle functional testing and grid certification project.
Kenny graduated in 2010 with a BEng in Building Service Engineering in Dublin Ireland. After graduating he spent 2 years in Australia working as part of a design team for an engineering consultant in Darwin, before moving to the UK. Kenny work as part of the Siemens Gamesa UKIE Major Projects team, responsible for the delivery of wind turbine blade repair projects, with a focus on Serial Defect retrofits and End of Warranty repair campaigns for onshore and offshore windfarms. A key part this role was supporting the development of technical solutions for the large and complex blade repairs in situ.
