Rebecca has been working with the Catapult as part of the Marine Energy Engineering Centre of Excellence within the Strategy and Emerging Technology Directorate. She is primarily involved in relationship management for the North Wales region, as well as facilitating and delivering ORE Catapult programmes and innovation projects for companies from SME’s to multinational companies.
North Wales is host to an array scale 240 MW tidal energy development, so much of Rebecca’s activity is centred around support for the tidal industry.
Prior to joining the Catapult, Rebecca was involved in the scale-up of a University spin-out water treatment technology, with experience in market evaluation, pilot trials and managing international collaborations. During her early career she worked in laboratory-based research and development and holds an MSc in Chemistry.
